Strategic Resilience

OUR PARTNERS

Strategic Resilience for First Responders (SRFR) was originally developed by Dr. Ruth Lamb in response to the overwhelming stress faced by police, firefighters, and other first responders. She delivered the program with the help of Ed Wohlmuth, a Counselling Therapist and NSCC Faculty, from 2017–2020. Since 2020, SRFR has been redeveloped by Ed and delivered through the Nova Scotia Community College with vital feedback from local police, fire, paramedics, corrections, and emergency communication partners across the province.
