About the Centre & Facilitator
The Centre for Strategic Resilience was founded by Ed Wohlmuth, Registered Counselling Therapist and educator, to expand the reach of SRFR and related resilience trainings beyond a single program.
Ed has over two decades of experience working in mental health and front-line environments, including provincial corrections and post-secondary education. His work blends body-based regulation practices, mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral approaches, and socio-ecological perspectives on resilience.
He is the co-creator and lead facilitator of Strategic Resilience for First Responders, and acts as subject matter expert for The Nova Scotia Community College. He maintains a close relationship with first responder agencies across Nova Scotia to support not only individual resilience but for that wellness and resilience to be shared with their families and peers.
